Machinery crates for machine tools, engines and heavy equipment
We build wooden crates for shipping industrial equipment: a reinforced base with runners for the forklift, the equipment bolted to the base, board or plywood walls, and marked lifting points and centre of gravity. For sea freight we add moisture protection, and for export ISPM 15 heat treatment.

In a machinery crate the base matters more than the walls: where the weight sits, how the equipment is fixed and how the crate is lifted.
A base for the weight
Reinforced runners and deck spread the weight; the equipment is bolted through the base so it cannot move during handling and braking.
For lifting and transport
We mark lifting points, the centre of gravity and handling symbols, and size the crate to the trailer or the container door.
Protection at sea
For sea shipments a barrier film, desiccants and a sealed plywood shell keep the equipment from corroding.
What a machinery crate is made of
| Part | Solution | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Base | continuous runners, reinforced deck | Carries the full weight of the equipment and allows forklift handling. |
| Fixing | bolts through the base, blocks, wedges | The equipment does not move inside the crate. |
| Walls and lid | boards, plywood or a combination | Protect against impact, dust and rain. |
| Moisture protection | barrier film, desiccants | For sea freight and long storage. |
| Marking | lifting points, centre of gravity, handling symbols | For safe handling along the whole supply chain. |
| Treatment | ISPM 15 (HT) and IPPC mark | For export outside the EU; plywood is exempt. |
Every machinery crate is designed around the specific item — send us the dimensions, weight, fixing points and destination country.
